Personafy emerged organically as part of Devvco's outbound prospecting efforts. Devvco's founder Josh Hardman was spending the majority of his day recording personalized videos for each prospect, and found that the process was inefficient. He wanted to find a better way to combine scalability, while enabling him to deliver a personalized message in a scalable way. His background as a software engineer and with his team, Personafy was born. The product began as a backend script that would generate portions of video using AI and stitching it all together with pre-recorded segments. The end result was a cohesive video that was personalized for each prospect. Once the backend script was working well, the team decided to design an interface, and begin developing a SaaS product.
